What I Liked

I liked the story and how stupid some of the characters are sometimes. The game has this weird charm to it that makes it memorable even when parts of it feel awkward or outdated.

It was fun to play for the most part and the different kills were entertaining to figure out. Even when the game gets clunky, it still has a strange amount of personality to it.

What I Did Not Like

The game can be really uncomfortable to play at times, especially because of the subject matter and some of the scenes.

It has also aged quite a bit. Some controls feel awkward and parts of the game can feel frustrating more than difficult.

Completion Thoughts

Going for 100% honestly made the experience a lot worse near the end. The last two achievements were actual hell and became more annoying than fun.

I still enjoyed finishing it overall because of the nostalgia behind the game, but I definitely would not want to repeat some of those achievements again.

Final Thoughts

Lucius is one of those games that is memorable mostly because of how bizarre and edgy it is. It feels very early 2010s YouTube horror game in both good and bad ways.

It has definitely aged, but it still has charm and is interesting to look back on, especially if you grew up watching people play it online.
